Timing is everything when it comes to pruning fruit trees. We recommend having fruit trees pruned in the late fall, winter, or early spring. Reason being, the tree needs time to store the energy it accumulated over the summer months as it enters dormancy. If pruned too early, the fruit tree won't have enough energy to heal the wounds

Your fruit tree pruning needs may vary, depending on the type of tree you have. If you need more information about pruning your fruit tree, contact us and we will be happy to answer any questions you have!
