Tree Arborist

Full-time Arborist / Seasonal Arborist - Edmonton, AB

As an arborist with David the Tree Guy, you will plant, maintain, and remove trees and other woody plants using your knowledge of tree anatomy and biology along with climbing and trimming skills. You must have exposure to all aspects of the arborist's role. This is a hands-on role, requiring a high degree of physical strength and dexterity to climb and prune trees or remove diseased, or entire trees. You will spend your day in the field supporting the main arborist and crew, all while ensuring a clean, safe, and organized site.

Job duties include controlling lowering ropes, supply tools for tree workers aloft, controlling road and sidewalk traffic as needed, performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance inspections on equipment, cut, chip and loading brush and wood, completing proper job site cleanup, assist other crew members in performing job duties, all while maintaining industry safety policies and procedures.
